My local council has installed signs outside my house which are illegal for me to remove....i know my children are not the brightest in the world but to put 'SLOW CHILDREN' signs outside my house is a bit bad........
Help me get the signs removed.........

Online petitions have very little clout in the real world unfortunately. If you want to go the petition route, you should go to your nearest public place with a lot of foot traffic and ask people from your neighbourhood in person. Perhaps you should bring a poster with large pictures of the signs in question and be prepared to answer people's questions. Have you gone to any of your local council meetings? Every one I have been to has had time allocated for the public to bring issues to council's attention. You should do that if you haven't already. This would be an excellent opportunity to present your petition if your first visit was not successful. I'd invite some of your more vocal supporters to go with you to the council meeting as well ;-)

They put a "no dumping" in front of my house. I swear, you try to fertilize your grass yourself and you're pegged as a criminal. Sure I'll sign your petition as long as you sign mine.

i cant believe the city would put up a sign that would try to get cars to slow down around kids ! its just awful......... what are you thinking are you so self conchies about your kids that you are angry at a sign...?????? your the kind of parent that tackles little kids at peewee football games
