Check out John Frusciante- he is the Chili Pepper's guitarist but he has 10 solo discs. It's very different from the Chili Peppers- mostly mellow and acoustic lately, but the 3rd and 4th discs were electronic. Try "Curtains" for acoustic/laid back, or "To Record Only Water for 10 Days" for the electronic. Otherwise broaden your horizons across the pond- Silbermond is an awesome German band- Das Beste is their latest song. You can get it on iTunes, I believe.
