I have all new college classes tomorrow...and somehow I'm afraid that I'll somehow be judged by people in the class. While I want to make new friends..I don't wanna make new enemies.

Would you like to befriend the aloof smartest person in a crowd, or the nicest one--smiling, positive, honest, real (not phony), friendly, kind, approachable, and so on? Become your own ideal friend, like yourself and people will resonate with the friendly self-image you'll naturally project. In friendships the quality is important not the quantity.Good luck with the college and making friends worthy you.

OK HERES THE THING you CANT go through life without making eminmys i know what your saying but its time for you to move on and meeyt new people
im not shy what soever and im not ashamed of myself what you see is what you get if they dont like me dont look at me.
if your yourself people will like you because of that, I used to be the cool person in school but noone knew who iwas When i became known everyone liked me and I set some new trends because im a leader not a follower ea maybe some people start out as a follower to get known but in the end you have to be yourself.
you have to trust that people arnt gonns hate you and you know in life not everyones gonna like you and if they dont thats there loss
you seem cool and stuff and if they cant relize that maybe your half decent then are they really worth it? It would be there loss and they can go suck a egg. Be yourself

If I learned one thing about fear of being judged or liked by other people is this...Don't worry about people liking you, but, do I like them. Are they really the type of person I'd like to be associated with? I'm not a snob, but I went to school for learning not for a personality contest. Don't worry seriously, they might be worried if you like them.
Hope you have a great day tomorrow. You'll be fine! Really!

To you I offer this view of life...

1. You can not control what the other person is going to thinking...

2. You can not control what the other person is going to do...

3. You can not control what the other person is going to say...

From this life view, the only thing that you can do is to do your
best and that is all that anyone of us can do... Remember you
are trying to make a better life for yourself, don't let anyone stand
in your way...if you use the above 3 statements in your life, you
will be better then the other person that lets those 3 statements rule over and destroy their hopes and dreams...always hoping that you will enjoy a better day...David here.

I've found the best way to conquer this fear is to forget about me and try to make the other people feel at ease. Always be true to your own beliefs. Don't be defensive about it but don't compromise what you believe. If you must disagree with someone do it with a kind and gentle spirit with the intent to bring your two minds together. Don't judge lest you be judged.

Sounds like 1st day jitters. Go to class and learn... don't worry about making the friends, that will come... try not to be the know it all or the class clown and you will do fine.

Just be nice. If you don't give them a reason to be enemies why would they be. Don't worry about making mistakes and stuff. Just laugh it off if you do. Just relax, other people want to make friends too.

remember to focus on doing well and getting good grades and tell yourself, if i make good friends cool, if i don't i came here to get work done, u'r a little high strung and seem like u will be shattered by any negativity, if u go in to class tommorow less anxious about making friends u'll seem more "real", if u're too anxious u may seem like your trying too hard. just be friendly and don't try to hard to impress.

I live life on the principal that if you don't put food on my table, your opinion of me doesn't carry any weight. Life's too short to worry about pleasing everyone. Trying to do so spells disaster. So relax, concentrate on what you need to accomplish at school and reach for the stars.

Just remember that a lot of your classmates feel exactly the way you do.... now ignore the thought and make new friends by just being yourself and not pretending to be anyone else!!!
