Yes, they do. I have seen three in my life. Once when I was 8 years old I saw my grandfather clearly standing at the end of his hallway. This was a few hours after his funeral. When I was a teenager some friends and myself found it fun to go to this old mountain cemetary and hang out. We had been there for about two hours on this particular night when my friend Faith told us (very abruptly) to be quiet and listed. We heard two distinct voices coming from the cemetary and thought that someone was messing with us. Me and another person went into the cemetary expecting someone to just up and say "boo, gotcha" any minute. Instead, what I saw has haunted me to this day. I saw an opaque figure of a child standing beside a tombstone. Her face looked like "death". We screamed and ran and NEVER hung out there again. My last experience was the Old Hag symdrome. For about a year straight I would awaken at night and feel paralized. There would be a presence in the room and I always feel/felt threatened by it. Its a horrible experience!!!! So yes, I believe in ghosts.

OK-For most of my life I would have said no way;I was taught as a child that people in hell couldn't come back and those in heaven didn't want to.BUT; I went down in Louisiana with a girlfriend to visit her grandparents,I'm talking back in the bayous,swamps all around,beautiful moss in the trees,really picturesque.They lived in this big old creepy house and my girlfriend kept telling me that the place was haunted.I'm thinking,Right ! Well we get ready for bed and they decide that I'm going to sleep on the sofa in the living room.I watch TV for awhile,it's late everyone else is asleep.I reach over,switch off the lamp,ease down on the pillow and immediately,right in my face,there's this panting,just like a huge St.Bernard was right in my face panting hard !You can't imagine how fast I switched that lamp back on and there was absolutely nothing there.I would say that you can also guess that I didn't turn that lamp off again that night.Now this happened 15-16 years ago,and as I tell you this,the hair is standing up on my arms.I swear this to be true,so Ghosts,hell I don't know,but something,not of this world was there !!

Ghost are demons, demons can take any form, I do not think a God, being almighty would, let the dead hang around, even if they had unfinished business to attend to. Demons are fallen angels and have the same power as Angels do. They like to inhabit places were a traumatic event took place. This is called a territorial stronghold. Usually called hauntings. "Stronghold" Greek strong's fortress, or prison-fortified place. 2 Cor 10:3-5. Remember the story of the Gergesene Demoniacs in Matt 8:28-34. (Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39) If you’re not religious, you may want to read it. This territory had a stronghold of demons over it, not to mention one man (Personal stronghold-possession) who had a legion of demons in him. Mark 5:9. Jesus freed the man, and in so doing freed the territory of its stronghold/haunting. When the demons went into the swine, the demons did not like the swine, so they drown the swine, this also killed the pigs that the Pagan worshippers used to sacrifice to their God's and killed that business off as well. Jesus healed the land and killed the Pagan worshipping (they used the pigs to sacrifice for food for their god’s) business for a time. My point is, demons are Ghosts and dead people are not.

I believe "ghost" are peoples energies whom havent returned to the universe yet. For some reason their energies are trapped on earth.

I've seen what people call ghosts on several occassions. But what a ghost really is....i have no clue.

Yeah, they're simply spirits who have left the physical body but haven't gone to the Light yet. Kind of stuck between worlds. Most don't even know they're dead!
