I would say the beach is the place to be when its hot and the sand between your toes .Walking down the beach at night looking for starfish and during the day with a net getting seashells .Daytona or Panama Flordia, havent been to any Islands yet so I cant compare.

Generally beaches give one the feeling of serene and things beyond the horizon. There are also interesting places like mountain covered with snow or just having the ontop of the mountain/world feeling.

well yes i live near the world longest fresh water beach.
but i like to swim in another place it is all flat flag stone i think flat anyway and i don't get sand in everything the dogs can run wild and there are lots of them and people just wear whatever mostly girls they wear hot suits or shorts and t i like that seems more like it most likely was before we managed to make up all the stupid rules about this and that.
but i do agree with you on one thing the water wow i live near the water and i will not leave this place the water has pulled me here and its got me now and i like it.
