::laughs:: Of the two dozen or so couples I've known in open or swinging relationships, ONE survived. All the others resulted in a breakdown of the primary relationship because someone "fell in love" with one of the secondaries. If the relationship is strong and solid and there aren't any issues with jealousy, and both parties are 100% into the idea of swinging - yeah, it can work. If it's used as a way to "save" the marriage, or if either partner isn't 100% into the idea but "goes along with it" in the hopes of making the other person happy? Kiss the relationship good-bye.
