Has anyone seen Rest Stop?Spoilers!!?

I just watched it and wondered if anyone had an opinion about it. What was the deal with all of the appearing and disappering bodies and people? ie, the cop and the girl in the closet and then the main character in the closet? Was it supposed to be "ghostly"? or was the girl already dead? Whassup?
