when you're in the house be really sexy. put on very nice lingerie and when he tries to get close say NO! state it as a fact. or go out to dinner and just bring it up like " My friend just got settled down. She and her boyfriend started going out the same time we did, and They got married. Do you think that was a little fast for the time?". You ask him and maybe you'll get his outlook on it and how he feels about it. hopefully it works. if it doesn't email me and I'll tell you more. tiarafugerson@yahoo.com

You can't make him "think marriage" he either does already or doesn't and you have to ask yourself, do you really want to be married to someone that doesn't really want to be married to you, but did it to make you be quiet? I don't know. It is such an insanely huge commitment that you shouldn't go into without the same feelings and everyone being on the same page. Nagging him all the time won't help you though, that's for sure. I guess you could ask him if you are so set on this. That would definitely let you know how he stands on the whole deal.

start talking about buying a house, or saving up for one. Ask him what he thinks about kids. Also, you might want to let him know that one of your goals in life is to be married, and if he's not willing, you'll have to move on and find someone who's on the same page as you. He'll have to make up his mind if he wants to buy the whole cow, or keep getting his milk for free. It's a crude way to put it, but unfortunately it's also very true.

im going through the same thing myself but we have not been together for 2 year more like 8 months, and i have found out a week ago that from his brother that he gotten the ring. To make him think marrage I'm suggesting is to bring up stuff like "what do you see in the fruture between us", "what do you think about marrage". you could go out like to your local mall and when you see a jewary store stop and drag him in and look at rings anf getting him to get the hint ;)

You can't MAKE him think anything. If he doesn't WANT to get married he doesn't WANT to get married. He does get a say in how HE lives HIS life. I suggest you either make do with the relationship as it is or go hunt for some "marriage minded" guy.

You get him to think about marriage by asking when you and him are getting marrried.Tomorrow? This week ? This month? No time to let him make his decision. Do it now[time and day] or forget him and move on. You have TWO years invested.

I wouldn't push him... it will happen when the time is right... and no matter what you think... things change when you get married... you will still love each other and it will be great but its not the same as dating... you don't get the flowers or jewelry as much... all the flirtyness seems to kinda fade... I wouldn't force him into... have fun dating and let him come to you...

Well... its best to propose when both people are comfortable with it. Maybe you should talk to him about what he thinks about your relationship. I'm hoping you mentioned 'marriage' but didn't really force the idea on him.

I would never want to MAKE someone propose to me. If he wants to marry me he will ask me. If you don't want to wait for him to do it, do it yourself. Or move on if he isn't on the same page.

Ask him first, nothing is traditional anymore besides than you'll know if he wants to be married or if you should move on.
