Hard to make out your question, but the shuffle does come with headphones(earbuds), the software etc. You can play your files sequentially or select shuffle. you can also use it as a storage device.You just can see what your playing.

You're right. I just got one and in the plastic case with the iPod Shuffle (the one that's the size of a matchbook - they call it the second generation shuffle) you get a pair of earphones (white), and a USB dock. The Dock and the headphones use the same "port" so you won't be listening while you load it with songs. There is also a "quick start" guide that gives you very little info.
BTW I bought one from the maker as a gift and they engraved it for free.

unless u somehow get ripped off as far as i know
my ipod mini came with the earphones and a cd to download iTunes onto my computer and as far as i know they all do
