It is The Lovin' Spoonful. I love that song! I have a video clip of when they were on the Ed Sullivan show, and performed it. Every time I hear the song, it still reminds me of the old McDonald's commercial. Don't you remember..."Do you believe in magic, and I hope you do. You'll always have a friend wearing big red shoes." LOL!!
