i have internet explorer 5.0 i think and i used to have this little bar right above my taskbar that showed what i was loading and stuff, its gone now, how can i get it back?

Select the View drop down menu at the top of your IE window, choose Toolbars, then it will list all the toolbars that you can have at the top of IE. Now if you don't have the Status bar selected at the bottom of the screen and want it to display, then just choose View, then click on Status Bar.

You should be using IE 6.0
