I am 16, and i would like to go to the high school i used to go to. i used to live in the district, and now i live literally two blocks from my old school district. Does anyone know of the consequences of using someone else's address to go to a different school, or a legal alternative, (or a better idea) to get into that district?

In my city, you can go to any high school you wish. There are no restrictions.

I live in Canada, but I am sure some US cities also allow this. Can't hurt to ask. Maybe it isn't even an issue.

I believe all you have to do is fill out a form. Some schools may require additional fees, but most do not. If your parents are willing to pay if needed, I can't see the school saying no.

They just kick you out and make you go to your proper school. It's not a big deal. Happens in my school district all the time. I think one of my cousins is still using my parents' address right now for high school.

if you get caught they just make you change to the proper school...but you could go to the student assignment office and explain the situation and see if you could get and inter-district transfer...my sister did it for her children

This happens in my school al the time... in USA. Somehow they find out, call you in, and that's it... they kick you out. Somehow, they always find out. You may get away with it for awhile, but they'll catch you.
