As a matter of fact, since (x-4)(x-7) has zeros 4 and 7, so does the equation c(x-4)(x-7) for any nonzero constant c because when you set it to zero, you get

c(x-4)(x-7)=0, so you can divide both sides by c and get
(x-4)(x-7)=0 hence x=4 and x=7.
