Does anyone know if U of Michigan's basketball program is being punished in some way?

Did they do something illegal or something that set them back a number of years? They just have not had any players since the fab-five (Webber, Howard, Rose, etc.). I just watched their conference opener against Illinois that they won by 10 and are 13-3 but not ranked. (granted they got absolutely crushed by UCLA but still... who hasn't).

they haven't beat a ranked team and the teams ahead of them have and/or have less than 3 losses

beat wisconsin and Ohio st and you'll get ranked
