Ever notice this?

The meanest, rudest, most miserable people in your workplace will always be your peers (or even subordinates). But, at least, unlike managers, these people won't be any different behind your back than they are to your face. Unlike managers, they're not smiling at you, telling jokes, pretending to be so helpful and pretending to adore your work, when in reality they're aspiring to look for any flaw in your work performance or personality that they can use against you and have you cast down with the Sodomites.

Why do managers act this way?

Mean/rude people I can deal with. Hypocrites I cannot.

If any one of you has ever gone through this b---s--- too, I feel your pain.

I totally disagree that all Managers are as you have described. I manage a team of 6 and we have a great relationship...it's called mutual respect.

They act that way because they are being buried alive by their managers. And so on...
