What are some good tips for casting calls?? (FORD)?

In a few weeks my mom is going to take me into Ford modeling agency for a casting call. I am 5ft2in and i weigh 95 lbs. i am 12 years old. I have red hair and dark blue eyes. I have sent my portfolio into bunch of agencies but they told me they were looking for more average looking models and one of them suggested i try Ford. What are some things i should get to be ready? i.e makeup?, clothes? HELP!

I'm so sorry that you were misinformed. Ford does not represent petite models. At 5'2, you do not have a chance at their agency.

Ford Models in NY holds weekly casting calls. It is basically impossible to get signed in any way other than an in-person interview or their yearly modeling contest. Their screening process is very fast so you will not even get the opportunity to hand in a resume or list of your performances.

Step 1: You are herded into the lobby of the office with dozens of other hopefuls. Often a booking agent is secretly in the room as well. They make you stand there for forever.

Step 2: The whole herd is brought before a pre-screener who will quickly leaf through any photos you may have brought and read through your stats. She basically rejects everyone and gives them a handout of other open calls at other agencies. She will hardly look at you, just your photos and measurements. Since you are 5'2, you will not get past her.

I won't go into step 3 and beyond because you will never get there.

You should try a more commercial agency or one that specializes in children's modeling.

I am a model. Go on youtube and search how to walk like a model. Wear your Natural hair don't straighten it or curl it they want to see the real you. Practice the walk in a mirror get it down. If your wearing high heels also look up how to walk in high heels and practice walking in them. Hope i Helped.

The natural look is in at the moment, don't be all made up in your portfolio. Have plenty of outdoor shoots
