I used to use a program called Acronis partition expert 9, I could change the partition size and not loose any data. I'm trying not to have to re format re install. Are there any fully function demos or partitioning software available. Acronis changed there trials to non functional, which is totally stupid, Any suggestions?

I've heard of partition magic working good. Since I have never used it and nor will I ever. When adjusting the hard drives partition is dangerous and could lose or damage all the data on it. If you wish to take a chance check out partition magic.

I wouldn't say its stupid...if you use the software more than once you should seriously consider purchasing it to keep out of situations like this.

I don't know of any for free that does what you ask but check out partition magic and look at MBR tool to see if it has what you need @ http://www.download.com/MBRtool/3000-2248_4-10252935.html?tag=lst-3-1
