Here's the thing. I play water polo and surf but I'm extremely white. I'm a guy so its important to me that people don't know that I'm using the tanner. I just want something that will give me a very light tan (just so I have some color in my skin) that will not turn orange or streak.

I also would like something that can stand up to the water.

I have tried Fake Bake and St. Tropez but both give me too dark a tan and turn orange either the next morning or when I'm in the water.

Thanks for any help!

Jergens Natural Glow moisturizer. It's a moisturizer with a hint of sunless tanner and comes in light and medium skintone shades I believe. The color is very subtle and natural looking, and your skin is also moisturized as a result. I would highly recommend it.

i know of the lotion that you put on every day (if you sleep alone do it a half an hour before bed) it lightly darkens the skin a little each time you use it so it is not a dramatic noticeable change right away. it looks natural, and is safe to use. olay touch of sun is a good brand.

if you are not prone to sun burn and don't mind smelling like a coconut use coconut oil. it is very effective at magnifying the suns rays. (if you burn easily please do not use it it will cause a painful burn.) a down side to this is it is a body oil and it has a very very heavy smell. so unless you have a reason for smelling like hawaii you might want to stick to the tanning body lotion. i am not aware of it having an aroma... though i have not used it, because i live in hawaii, and so i don't mind the coconut!

There is now a spray that you can get put on at tattoo parlors. It is sprayed on clear and within a few hours you have a nice tan. The cost is about $70.00 but it last for about 6 weeks and there is no damage to the skin. I had it done last summer and it worked great.

you need to find one for Light skin. Also there are some lotions you can use, that have very gradual tanners in them. you put them on after you shower and it darkens you very little at a time. One of them is called Sublime Glow by Loreal. Here is a link so you will know what it looks like. I use it every other day.
