What is your favourite or least favourite dream/nightmare you've ever had?

i was in the pool area of my old house with father and there was a huge spider in the pool, i wanted to know if it was a trapdoor or a terrantula so my father got a coin from my collection of over-sized fifty cent pieces and put it on top of the spider (which was now out of the pool) it didn't make a trapdoor out of it so it was a terrantula. it jumped back in the pool and father dove in after it, he assured me it was harmless so i jumped in too and spikes came off the spider and floated in the pool, some said 'qantas' and some said 'nike', i got one in my finger so grandpa simpson pulled it out.

I had a dream that one of my friends was telling me I had to marry this guy.. and I had never met him and I kept asking her why? And she was just like because you have to. And then I saw another friend and she told me the same thing.. that I had to marry this guy. Then I was at school bending down looking through my backpack and this guy walks up and I knew it was that guy for some reason and he said something but I don't remember what and he walked away. And I kept thinking why do I have to marry him? and then i overheard people all around me saying "she only has 10 min." and i just knew everyoene was talking about me and so I asked people, but nobody would admit they were talking about me. And then I remember arcade games.. I'm not sure how that fits in. And then I was in this glass elevator type thing and it shot me into this other world and then I was still in this glass container but I was also in a room that had windows on all the walls and people were on the outside of the room cheering. and then someone was like "you should brush your hair" and they gave me just the tongs from the bursh.. not handle.. just like toothpicks kind of. And my hair was in a ponytail so I took it down and i looked in a mirror and it turned out my hair was falling out. But just a patch from the center. And then the bald part of my head lit up like light bulb. And this voice told me I was the supreme being and everyone was cheering.

That's not the best dream I've ever had, or the worst.. but it is the weirdest. I had it a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the most vivid dreams I've had and it's definitely the weirdest dream that I can remember.

I saw Jaws when I was four on HBO. Ever since then, when I get stressed out or insecure about something, I dream I am being chased or eaten by a shark.

Its funny, because even though the film terrified me as a child, I now thinks its one of the best films ever and always catch it on TNT or TBS during the 4th of July Weekend.

This part, I've posted before..

Since I have been a very small child - everyone in my family talks about it from time to time- I have been plagued with a recurring night terror in which I walk, talk, and scream. In my dream, I am walking down a trail that looks like a path in a jungle or forest, there is a thatched circular hut in a clearing. As I near the hut, I walk inside, it is dusty, warm and humid. There is a dark haired, dark eyed little girl sitting on a table. She looks at me with her dark eyes in fear and says Mommy, why won't you help me? I can't respond, but feel the fear and anguish in my heart. Then, there is a flash of light in the distance and I have a feeling I knew it was coming. Then she begins to scream as her skin is peeling, melting off and her hair singes, she screams in anguish, Mommy, Mommy help me, help me.. as she combusts in flames. I have had this dream since before I watched television or new of weapons. My first knowledge of this is about 2 (from family members who have witnessed the night terror). I am now almost 30, and still dream of her. I actually have laughed that I think I subconsciously avoid dark complected men in the fear that my dream will somehow come true.

I have also dreamed, later, as part of the above, that I was running down the path away from the "hut" and came upon a clearing, I could tell it had been raining because there were mud puddles on the ground. I turned around, heart thudding, knowing that someone was behind me... Then, I saw several men, dressed in fatigues, with some sort of guns in their hands. I threw my hands in the air, but they opened fire. I could feel each bullet piercing my body, then fell backwards into one of the puddles, as I lay there looking up, one of the men came forward. I could see him looking down at me as my blood swirled with the muddy water. He leaned over and spit into the puddle above my face. Then, I usually wake up.

Both dreams plague me. Anyone know of "dream interpretations" for this... LOL..

I have recurring nightmares about bears. Have had for many, many years. I've never been traumatized by a bear, or even seen a "grizzley" movie, however, the fear in my dreams is literally a physical feeling. Weird huh?
