I know some studies have been done to show that some people think more with the right or left side of there bran. I am interested in increasing my ability to process and learn new information, retain old information I wish to. As well as view everything thorough a broader perspective - as I am a college student and want to be the best professional that I can be. Dose anybody know much about this?

Please, Only serious responses! Don't bother to answer if you are going to make some rude comment about me. If this is to broad of a question let me know and I will divide it into a couple more specific questions. Looking forward to what you come up with. Jonny.

I am a left hander. I had lots of thinking problems... etc until a friend suggested I practice writing with both hands and in mirror image and also draw spirals first one way then the other way with each hand...

it sounded a bit weird but at least not harmful... so I did it... and it did work..

as a lefty my think was more ariy fairy and not logical enough.... after several months of practicing writing with both hands I felt my problem solving got better because I was not solely reliant on creative problem solving... I could use logical problem solving too.. and both kinds of problem solving are good

i'm left handed. each so often i imagine it would want to be extra effective to be good handed because many stuff are made for good handed human beings and it receives extremely stressful even as im writing and that i take position to get a most suitable black streak on the aspect of my hand and smear my writing. :-)

Ya know, I had a left handed horse and in order to turn cans on her I had to learn to think like a lefty. I think learning to use my left hand for everything helped me with critical thinking.

Nope, using left hand won't do anything.

If you want to increase your ability in both right and left brain, you must train each part.

as you know, Left Brain is linear (concrete) oriented, more to science of math (quantity), present and past, linear language(grammar/words), pattern perception. in other words your logic

and Right brain is holistical (abstract) oriented, more to science of philosophy (quality), present and future, holistic language(intonation/emphasis), spatial perception. in other words, it's more to your sense of art

so, to train your
Left Brain : test your logic and think more
Right Brain : train your creativity and make something different

Hmm... ambidextrous, you want to be? Let's see... I think you either have to be born with it or practice a lot with your other hand. If you want more accurate results, go to Wikipedia.org. it knows EVERYTHING.
