It is 9:00 @ night here in this middle sized town in the middle of the middle west and it is 42*. That's right 42* on a January night. Life can be so grand!!!

30 years ago all the "scientists" swore that a new ice age was almost here. Global warming is just Anti-Capitalism dressed up in pseudo-science with a topping of hysteria.

Even if global warming is as bad as some people think (ie that man made activity has a substantial, quite-immediate effect on world temperature), it's no doubt GOOD for some places in the world.
The US is the world's biggest CO2 producer yet doesn't help out much with global warming.
The UK doesn't make much of a dent in world CO2 production yet it's a huge issue here. YET, global warming will actually damage much of the continental-sized US, but will ONLY BENEFIT the UK (it will give us a mediterranean climate...we can make wine :-D).
N.B. Those who have given me thumbs-down probably think I made the above up. I did not. Think about it: global warming = the world getting hotter. This will be catastrophic for some regions. However, it will move cool, temperate regions into a mediterranean-esque climate.

Where I live we could stand to have a little global warming. No one wants to live here because of the cold wet winters. I hope things work out.
I hope the sea levels rise as high as possible. They need to cover some of California.

There's more important things to worry about than global warming. Go out and help the homeless or less fortunate people and change the world that way, don't worry about the temp. your gonna go to the grave one day, make your life count.

Big tobacco should start filling in ExxonMobil about the realities of being the defendant in a Class action lawsuit.
