What a great time it was. The children went horseback riding, gondaleer ride. I rented a condo for the week and it was just like home. They had a pool and we met some very nice families. Babysitters list was made available and the adults enjoyed a fine dinner at The Von Trapp Family Home. It was great. ive entertainment and flower gardens were breathtaking. Always planned a return visit but haven't made it yet. Down town Stowe is set up with bike trails and lots of great little shops. Very nice area

Yup - it's nice. I've stayed at the Golden Eagle in Stowe - not too bad. There was a nice restaurant on the west side of the little river between Stowe and the resort, right by a bend in the road - I forget the name. You can climb Mt. Mansfield, nice view and some crazy trails. Ben & Jerry's is right down the road. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area. Driving north from there will put you in some pretty country. The notch itself is pretty interesting to look at and explore.

There are different issues you're able to do at Smugglers Notch different than for snowboarding and snowboarding. There are FunZone kinfolk entertainment, tube sliding, canines sledding, ECHO Lake Aquarium and technological awareness middle and greater.
