with a person that embarrased them by screaming & yelling at people? If so what did you do? I couldn't leave because I was waiting for a ride so I just went to the other side of the bar. I don't deal with drunks because you can never win but I got very scared.

I would have done the same thing if I were you. If I had been drinking then I would leave. I would get out of there before the police come.
I was in the Navy, so I have been in bars all over the world. Many times, I did just leave when someone got out of control.
You never know what a drunk might do. My suggestion, get away as fast as possible.

I have spent many an hour in bars. I am speaking of working as a musician. I have always hated them. They are always loud, they used to be filled with smoke, and you never know when someone is going to hit someone in the head with a chair, or knife them.
I have never understood why people hang around them. But then, I don't drink.

No, I have not... But if you are in that situation, call a cab. Ask the bartender call one for you, and tell him/her that you'll be waiting in the bathroom. Then, when your person is sober (?) or at another time, bring it up with him/her that you will respond when spoken to as a human being, not when being screamed at.

o ya thats what alcohol does, especially when i was young my dad took me there alot and when things like that turn up, i go to the game room
