I'm upgrading my internet service from dial-up to DSL (1.5-3.0 Mbps), and I need an inexpensive ethernet card for the ADSL modem which will be sent in the mail by my sevice provider. I have no clue what to look for in an ethernet card and would appreciate any recommendations - Thanks!

Any ethernet card will work let me say look on ebay can always find stuff cheaper there. Also Best Buy or Wal-Mart. Here are a few links hope this helps. Also can take your computer into a computer shop ask them and they would gladly install it for you too.

And ethernet card is one of the cheapest components to add to a computer. Which is nice.
As the other person said pretty much any card will do. Although I wouldnt just buy the very cheapest one.

If you go to a retail store and get one of those pushy sales guys who tries to sell you stuff you dont need dont let him.

The one jaz put up the link to is just fine. as you can see 25 dollars. not bad. Something similar to that is just fine.
