I'm against it. It's so sad. My mom had a miscarriage, and that made it even harder to believe that people would kill their own children.

Abortion is wrong, it's sin, and it's murder!
About science...ha...scientific studies have proven that babies in the womb introduced with stimuli move away from it...they cry...they yawn...their heart beats faster when the stimuli moves closer...they dream...they suck their thumbs...they do everything a baby does...a fetus is just a term used for unborn child...but it is a baby....alive with a heartbeat, a soul, and feelings!
A woman does not have the right to murder anyone...and killing her own child born or unborn is wrong and it's biblically a sin! A woman should not have the right to kill or to destroy a life! Every human being has the right to live! When another life is involved nobody should have the right to destroy that life!
Women should not allow themselves to get pregant if they don't want to bring a baby into this world...if they are irresponsible enough to get an unwanted pregnancy then they should give it up for adoption! So many couples cannot have babies and would give anything to have a baby...why kill when you can give the baby to someone who would love and cherish it and not harm it!
A person who could kill their own flesh and blood, their own baby, has no conscious and will be judged accordingly! Murder is murder be it inside or outside of the womb!
There's no difference in taking a born child and killing it!
I find it contradictary how abortion is okay, but let someone kill a pregnant woman, even accidently, and that person will be charged with two murders! Hmmmm...someone thinks that life is worth something don't they...

If the person who suggested you "read a science book" would take the time to read a basic embryology textbook himself, he would learn that:
At 3 weeks after conception, an unborn baby's heart is beating.
At 6 weeks, she has recordable brain waves and tiny fingers.
At 7 weeks, she will turn her head away if her cheek is stroked.
At 8 weeks, she will draw her hand away from a pin prick. She has all her organs and can suck her thumb.
At 9 weeks, she can grasp an object placed in her palm.
The average age of an aborted baby in America is 10 weeks. "Fetus" means "little one" in Latin. It is just a name to describe the child's age and level of development, like "toddler" or "adolescent." Is a toddler less than human because she is less developed and smaller than an adolescent?
And by the way, pro-choice DOES mean pro-abortion. Saying "I'm pro-choice when it comes to abortion" is exactly like saying "I'm pro-choice when it comes to slavery" or "I'm pro-choice when it comes to rape." If a person claims to be personally against slavery and rape, but argues that others should have the "choice" to own slaves and rape people, would you believe them when they say they are not pro-slavery and pro-rape? Please. If there's nothing wrong with abortion, why do people object to being called pro-aborts?

I'm very against abortion. And not because I'm some close-minded religious person; I am atheist. I can't understand how some people are against the death penalty but support the right to abortion. I do think it's reasonable to think the dealth penalty is wrong, but not if you are willing to kill humans that have never even been convicted of doing something.

I doubt anyone is "for abortion." We merely recognise that some women have the right to choose one. An abortion does NOT constitute "sucking a baby's brain out"--this is gross misinformation on multiple levels.
Want to stop abortions in America? Stop trying to remove the rights of women and start making elective abortions unnecessary through better and less expensive health care, better aid to women and families with low incomes, easier adoption processes, and better sex education. Punishing women for a necessary decision helps no one, and hurts us all.

No. It's sad that insurance companies don't cover birth control, but it's not sad that real live women, most of whom are much too young, have control over their own bodies. Is this a real question??

I'm all for abortion. A woman killing a fetus has the same result as a woman simply not getting pregnant in the first place. Same thing, same effect, same cause.
