i recently sold an item on ebay, & i dont know what to do from there. i have a paypal account. the guy messaged me and asked if i shipped the item and i havent yet. do i wait for him to pay first or am i supposed to ship the item? how am i supposed to recieve the money too?

Yes! Don't ship anything yet - you can see if a payment has been made by logging into your paypal account and it will say "completion of instant transfer" or "payment received" - usually ebay will send you confirmation that the buyer has made a payment. But be sure you ship it out AFTER you've received the payment.

I usually wait until I receive the money into my paypal account. Then I ship the item. Check your paypal account and see if he paid. If not, do not ship the item. Once you get the money into your account, you can have it ETF to your bank account or they will print you a check.

well it is better to be on safer side.ask him to pay via paypal.com or through echeck , before you transfer the product to him
