Excel ,Power Point and Access are parts of the Microsoft Office Suite. These are not part of Xp but may be included on a PC that you buy. (Bundled Software) Be aware that many of these programs are demo or trial versions which have either a limited functionality or a limited life (60 or 90 days). At the end of a trial period you would have to pay money to fully activate these programs.

Word has two versions, a stripped down version which does come with Xp and a much more powerful version which is part of Office. Power Point Viewer is a free program to let you view a Power Point presentation.

The Xp OS does have other programs which come with it like a paint program, sound recorder, Notepad, some games a media player and browser. Most are not very powerful programs but they do provide functionality for someone with a limited need.

No, you have to buy that seperatly. You will have to buy the Microsoft Office suite even with Windows XP Pro. If you buy a new computer from Dell, or elsewhere you might get a free trial of Microsoft Office.
