yes, "dog parvo" can be transmitted to an unborn child. my mom worked as a vet tech for numerous years and while she was pregnant the vet would allow her no contact with parvo cases, and said that it could be transmitted to the baby. but if you didn't feel a prick or notice any blood you probably didn't break skin but you can discuss this with your dr. and see what he/she has to say. good luck.
oh, i don't think that the parvo shot is an active virus either, i think it is a dead strain (like the rabies, vaccine)

Parvo can't be transferred to people. If it would desire to, better than 0.5 the inhabitants would have parvo, because of the fact it is incredibly unfold, and is almost purely approximately everywhere, so it is significant to continuously get your canines vaccinated for it till now it is uncovered to everywhere incredibly... yet, fyi, parvo is as incredibly unfold as a fowl lands on a patch of floor the place stay parvo virus resides... the subsequent place it lands turns into contaminated with parvo. so, you do not have any reason to be disturbing approximately your infant. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, in the experience that your undesirable canines is unlucky sufficient to have parvo, you will desire to be doing some thing for it, no longer purely letting it go through. There are remedies for the virus, and that they might maximum probable keep the canines despite if it incredibly is caught early.

Absolutely not. Parvo has no affect on humans. You have nothing to worry about. (except the upcoming delivery, a year with no sleep and college tuition in 18 yrs)

I dont think it will, we once had a dog that had that and they said that it wouldn't hurt the baby but she was already born and they meant it wont hurt her if she crawls on the floor and what ever...I am not really sureif it will hurt a unborn child. I would call your ob and the vet.

Call your doctor in the morning, I'm not an expert but anything that is not supposed to be used for humans could potentially be bad for you and your unborn child.
