I strongly support a no answer on this question. I have often considered the pros and cons of this issue and I think we just are not civilized enough as humans to even consider this. First off scientists would use these "clones" for experiments and I don't even want to go there. Secondly. there will be the countries who will try to be "GOD" and create superhumans for war purposes. You have read the books, you get the picture. Lastly, we cannot even make peace right now with the humans on the earth as it is, and now we want to add another mix into the batter. What happens if the clones aren't perfect or not what we planned? What do we do then? We already have enough human predjudices; religion, sexual orientation, race, etc, lets not add more problems than we can handle already.

i personally think that we shouldn't think of cloning human. i think cloning is cool to be honest but cloning human isn't that interesting to me. i mean if we are just cloning human why do someone have to reproduce. cloning would provide like a twin and if everyone wanted to clone than reproduce. the individuality and uniqueness of a people and the individual physical is not amire the same way. there won't be the element of surprise when the clone come it will look expectly the people that want to be clone whereas a person can either have their own children or adapt one. i do not see the point in cloning anything. there are plenty of people and animals in the world, is there not? we are already unique so why change it. i did say that having a clone is like a twin but it isn't exactly as unique as a twin that share the same womb together.

i don't see the subject. If we've been a race of beings who had stepped forward a community the place many men contributed sperm for one egg to grant the fetus as a lot performance as achieveable (in a fashion we do try this), then somebody got here across that each and everybody you like is one guy to a minimum of one lady, little question there may be screaming from the a lot for changing custom. they are going to scream, yet evolution strikes on with or with out your perception; we've and consistently will substitute, even with the shown fact that commonly not a discernible quantity in one lifetime, yet our lifetime has considered the pill that has completely freed females and given social substitute a huge push. Cloning is purely yet another step. I took genetic engineering until my homework ate my canines.

There really is no point to human cloning. I mean, yes they will have the exact same genetic DNA as you and it will be like having a twin, but by the time your clone is born, you will still be older than them. They can be used as donors, but really, is that ethical? They are human too.

I disagree that cutting up clones for parts would be taboo in the future - currently many people support abortion which is cutting up babies, babies whose spare parts are used if possible. It's not a far logical leap from denying the humanity of a genetically distinct unborn baby to denying the humanity of a clone.

No.
Totally unnecessary.
We are not an endangered species.
We are over populated as is.
We are not a food source.
Unless they are cloned for spare parts only,
without these clones having emotions.
Cutting them up for parts, since they are human, would equate murder.
So this would never be accepted.

We haven't got past animals, people (especially religious) think it's immoral to clone humans, it may never happen.

no. it's unethical. next thing you know we will be a nation of test tube babies. it takes all the joy out of two people creating a life together and it destroys the whole birth process which is a beautiful thing.
