Tubal ligation actually involves removing a piece of the fallopian tube on each side. Since conception can take place anywhere along the tube, it is possible that a ovum (egg) had already past the point of the tube dissection so it would be theoretically possible to become pregnant after the procedure but certainly not at 3 months and certainly not immediately after you delivered as there would be no eggs turned out at that time. Some gynecologists will send the pieces of removed tube to the pathology lab for evaluation under a microscope to prove to themselves and to you that the very tiny tube section they removed from you was, in fact, an actual piece of your tube. If this is the case with your doctor, ask if the pathology report concluded that the procedure was complete and rest easy.
Good luck,

DEAR yes but you need to wait a while and let you body hill up completely and take it easy your body is saying wait hold up you do not need to do it so soon spend time with the baby if you are going to have sex any at all use the bottom part not the top part and you will not get pregnant if you do not take your time you will also call the nurse doctor and ask questions people rush it after a baby is born why i do not know but they do and do not take time out to enjoy the new baby you both are so lucky and do not even no it handicapped people like me and also a disabled person can not even have kids when you are a child your self

It is completely safe to have sex without a condom. Why go through that and still use a condom. Doesn't make any sense.
You had the operation and now you don't have to worry about condoms or any form of birth control ever again.

i also had a tubal done and its like 99.9 % effective but then again sometimes things happen my neighbor had her tubes tied for 13 years and just found out she was pregnant now she has a beautiful lil boy. but i also have this concern i dont want anymore children i have 3 also and was very sick and the labor with my last child was horriblle i would never ever want to go thru that again. I love kids dont get me wrong but i get to sick when it comes to pregnancy if anything i could always adopt if i want more children or spoil my friends kids. but anyways back to your ? you should be fine. It takes awhile for them to come ondone depends if they were cut tied n burned though.
well goodluck.

Tubal Ligation protects you from pregnancy from the moment it is done.
You've been in the clear for quite some time.

sure,why not?????
it is completely safe and sound.
to be more safe without condoms,9 days after and before your expected next menstrual cycle,it is completely safe to have sex without condom.
for eg-;if you r expecting your next cycle on 15th of this month,6th to 24th are totally safe period days.irrespective of tubal.

Yup shouldn't be a problem. Although it is a very very slight chance some "little guys" could still get though and bingo baby time again. But it's a very rare thing to happen.

I am amazed that your doctor did not make this clear to you. You're done with kids now. The rest of your life is for FUN! So turn the computer off and jump your husband. He'll thank you for it!
