For me it is best to put them on audio cassette and listen in the car or in a walkman. Hearing yourself speak the lines over and over again help them stick in your mind. Try it! It really works!

Good Luck!

Write them out, phrase for phrase. Memorize them mechanically. Then run lines with someone as fast as you can, until you know the words so well you don't have to think about them.

from personal experience its better to read over it and then write it down. and say it in your mind over and over again really, and find something to relate it to or even make a beat to it. Being an orator, I find that memorizing lines is like learning lyrics to any new song. You need to find personal interest in it.

Repetition and also reading them before you go to bed helps as your lines are the last things on your mind as you go to sleep.e

Also, try to make them more than lines. If you can really immerse yourself in it than it can develop a flow and the words come to you almost as if you really are that peson and those are the words coming directly from your head/heart.
