You need a TV tuner card installed on your laptop.

What I find to be helpful is to close my laptop up and then place it on my couch, then I sit on it and turn on my TV. Hope this works for you too!

Get a friend to hold your laptop for you (while it's closed, of course), then as you lift up your television set, get them to slide it right underneath the tv as you set it down. Then, turn the set on, sit down, and enjoy.

asalah malikum muhammad,,well im not sure if it s the same on the laptop but on the computer i just go on google.com and i lookit up like free tv online or tv channels,,just look it up and you will find what you are looking for...
