For those many of us familiar with windows, it wont get off the screen with the little three squars that scroll at the bottom on boot.

When I book in safe mode is comes to a dead stop in loading:

multi(0) disk(0) rdisk(0) partition(1) \ WINDOW \ system32 \ DRIVERS \ agpCPQ.sys

(no spaces in anyof this of course)
Now, I can observe that this particular thing is a crutial driver for the operating system to function... but i dont know how to solve it...

I've tried every route using two diffrent recovery disks, and i dont really have to money to take it to comp. doc... so any help would be great!

Thanks to all who bothered reading this.

Florian

It is most likely getting stuck on the display adapter. Start Windows in Safe Mode, remove the video driver, and reboot. Let Windows resolve the problem by reinstalling the driver the next time around.

Your laptop sounds brand new. If the above doesnt work, bring it back for exchange or warranty repair.

Sounds like your MBR is messed up, its looking for a driver file, but cant find it.

You need to zero the drive, and re install.
