It can get too addictive alright. And one can spend too much time on it and forgetting real life issues. Real friends in real life, obligations, duties,,,,,etc...
You just come to a point sometime when you realise that the outside world is way more important.
It is not a waste of time considering on how much connections you make, learn from people from other backgrounds, discover people from the same background as yours.....and make real buddies on here.
It is a double edge sword. It can take over your life but once you become disciplined and choose your own priorities, it is a good site.
Pity too may answers and questions are so lame though..
False intimacies..
I do not regret it though; I have made some real good friends from all kind of backgrounds. I have learnt- still learning- and growing actually.

For the most part, but so are all the other things I like to indulge in. So there isn't any sense in wasting more of my time by dwelling on the fact that it is so useless to me.

It's my version of a video game....it's entertaining and sometimes it's a waste of time, but if you've got time to kill, why not? Sometimes I answer serious questions and try to help people and that's not a waste of time.

No, I think that overall there are some very good intelligent answers here. YES there are some equally bad ones, but I just ignore those and take in the good ones.

I don't think of it as a waste of time I prefer to think of it as a way for me to spend some of my free time.
