My baby got her 4 month shots yesterday morning, and was fussy, sleepy, and didn't eat as much as usual yesterday. I thought that the effects from those shots were only supposed to last 24 hours (till 10:30 am Wednesday) and she was acting fine all day, except that she still wasn't eating. I just took her rectal temperature, and it was 100.5. I called the dr, who said that if she is still not feeling well tomorrow, he will look at her.

Did your baby have negative reactions to the shots? How long did they last?

Yes my baby had a bad reaction to all her shots. She had a fever for 48 hrs and didn't eat as much as usual. I gave Panadol Baby drops as they are safe for all babies ie Nurophen should not be given to babies with a heart condition. I err on the side of conservatism when it comes to my baby.

I wouldn't worry as long as she is happy within herself, ie playing her favourite games and interacting with you not listless, eating and drinking something and is going to the bathroom OK ie no diarrhea as dehydration can be dangerous in an infant.

Saying all that take her to the doctor if you are still not comfortable.

Hope this helps and I hope your little one feels better soon. It is such a worry when they are not well.

Your baby should be fine. She hasn't had a serious reaction, probibly just an upset stomach.

My daughter didn't have any symptoms until the next day. She had a fever and wasn't feeling well, but within the next day it was better.

I would try TYLENOL INFANT DROPS, they gave me a sample when my son got his 4 month shots.
