Don't hold grudges. Forgive and forget. Treat others as would want them to treat you. Cliché, but effective, I think.

in today's world we CANNOT PRETEND to be unaware of all the senseless human suffering in the world. we need to resolve to do our part in improving the human condition. children whom go hungry or are without clothes, shelter, health care....etc. is an UNacceptable situation. we have the resources- the concept of SCARCITY is a bunch of @*(&*#%# . the pie is not being cut fairly- if bill gates was born in somalia i wonder how rich he would be? many of us have been blessed we need to come together and bring down the 3% which control 70% of the world's wealth (the % are rough estimates the point is valid).
as long as one person suffers we all suffer. i.e. if you know that there is a child dying of starvation (which we do) it causes us grief. we still have to live our daily lives (with food, shelter, health care...etc) yet we must be doing our part through donation, voluntering to be worthy of our blessings.
in canada their is a company selling bottled water to help the needy. i believe it is called EARTHWATER. they our looking to expand into the U.S.- THIS IS JUST ONE GREAT IDEA- I AM SURE THERE ARE MANY MORE- if we come together as one we can end poverty and the like.

stand strong for truth, respect myself, act on positive ideas that are in my heart, even if others aren't doing it.
Choose not to go through life selfish and "insignifcant", make more friends, improve the quality of my friendships, plant more trees (donated & planted a couple trees to a local park last year), get some action to protect local old growth trees, work in harmony with local government, donate to protect abused animals (wspca) and disadvantaged people around the world, do my little part in peace and harmony between myself and people of different religions and atheists who tolerate other people having different faiths.
