I am afraid all that makes her is a coniving, lying, skank. I don't think there are any recourses unless maybe you were forking over money for her supposed prenatal care.

Legally no morally she is totally in the wrong. I would say just get as far away from this person as you can. Someone who is willing to manipulate the truth to such an extent because they can't handle rejection well that is just plain psycho and yes there should be a law against false pregnancy claims but sadly there is not.

I don't think there is any legal actions that can be taken, except maybe stalking? If the guy knows she is not pregnant, then he should break up with her, if that is what he had planned to do. If she keeps harassing him, then he should consider stalking an option.

Unfortunately there is no legal recourse. Just stay away from women like this and use a condom. Only you can protect yourself.

It depends on the laws of the state you are in. Contact an attorney. I know that NC is one of the states with laws against a women falsely claiming pregnancy/paternity.

Never heard of any other legal action being taken in a situation like this. But if she's crazy I guess you could get a restraining order.

In the US you could probably sue her.
Given the fact that if she genuinely were pregnant that she could sue the male for alimony then it makes sense to make a false claim would equally be punishable. people sue each other for far less in the good ol USA.

No; but she could use a swift kick in the bum for being so possessive, for not letting go and for using such an inappropriate thing as a lie.

No not if she says she is just to keep the guy in her life but if you marry her because she says she is then you can get a annulment(because thats fraud then)
