Please help ,How do you reset the HDD password and the Bios password.On a Gateway 1450 notebook ?Thank you so much ahead of time .

To reset hdd & bios password, you need to reset the bios by short some pin on the motherboard. as for notebook, you are not advised to open it up, so you better ask for help from your service centre.

take it back to the manufacturer there the only ones to do it. unless you take out the cmos battery. Internal anmd takes like 60-70 screws to get to.
