The French were losing to the English in a tremendous bloody war. I believe it was the 100 years war. At this time a woman named Joan of Arc stepped in and began to lead the new French armies...She was a brilliant tactition and won many battles. As the French began to kick out the English from the french lands. Unfortunatly, Joan of Arc was thought to be a witch because she said she had visions...She was later burned at the stake for her efforts!

She was French, born in the 15th century.. She fought against the English. Where I come from, on the 8th May, we celebrate the liberation of Orleans by Joan of Arc. She was burn alive in Rouen.

It's History! France or Rome (i forget) was about to give up the war and she lead them to victory! They said she was a witch or something so she died.
