My dreams are pretty vivid, bright colors and intense themes. I tend to dream about whatever it is that is on my mind (boyfriend, the book I'm reading, work, school, whatever). I know they say you only dream 2 hours per night, but I have always had my doubts. My dreams are really intricate and on average I have 4 or 5 a night.
I have also found that if I wake up during a dream, if I concentrate on the last portion (all that I remember of the dream) then I can usually fall back into it, if not I can almost always harness it in a way that I can at least dream about something similar.

I have many dreams at night. I don't usually remember the events of the dreams, but I do remember the FEELING of the dream. Before going to bed, I'm thinking about everything except sleep!

Dreams result usually from thoughts and inner feelings you keep in your subconscious. I'm supposed to move to Texas in the summer and take my medical boards once I'm there...so mostly all my dreams are about renting a place somewhere I am unfamiliar with or seeing myself doing rounds in hospitals. Depending on what I eat before I go to bed also turns into good dreams or nightmares.

I had really scary nightmares about aliens and UFOs all night last night. I woke up in a cold sweat 4 different times. In my dream, the aliens were taking over the world Independence Day style with hugh freaking UFOs destroying everything....
I watch cartoons before I go to sleep. I don't think.

Depends on my day. If I have a new recipe planned out for the next day, I think about how it will turn out before I sleep. If I watched a movie before bed, I'll think about it (if it was good) and same goes for if I read before bed.

I usually grab my notes, and think about the next segment that I plan to write about in the morning. And try to envision it. Sometimes I dream about it. But anyway, when I get up in the morning I usually jot down a few new things, and work on my next segment. ; )
