Lets say you on a cliff of a really high mountain in the snow. Some people are after you for some reason, and they have guns. You see two items in front of you, one is a parachute and one is a snowmobile. So the question is, would you use the parachute to base jump off the cliff, or use the snowmobile to escape down the mountain?
(yes, I have way too much time on my hands)

I would take the parachute and jump on the snowmobile and go as fast as i can towards the cliff and when i go off the parachute would go into use.

The snowmobile. A parachute would be slow and they could shoot me at will. Although a snowmobile would leave tracks. If they were a long way off I may use the parachute.

It depends on the slope of the mountain. . .the amount of rocks. . .I grew up on snowmobiles, so I know how to maneuver one rather well. . .but if the terrain isn't conducive to riding down the mountain. . .I'd snag the parachute.

I'd use the parachute
I always wanted to base jump. Not in that situation, but I'll take it anyway, even though I might get shot as I'm slowly gliding down. Ah, whatever.

why not just shot it out w/ the pursurers? chance of surviving would be better
