Why do people keep saying that depending on how thin or fat you are is when you will feel your baby move ?? You feel your baby moving on the inside too and that wouldn't matter how big you are, right ??

It doen't matter how thin or fat you are, if it your first child most people don't feel him/her until at least 5 months and every concecutive child after that you usually feel them earlier. Being overweight has nothing to do with the size of your amniotic sac. Hope that helps!

I am not a really thin person, and I felt all three of my children by 14 weeks. The doctor kept telling me I couldn't possibly be feeling the baby, but I knew that's what it was. What the heck does a man know about feeling your baby move? lol

I dont believe it matters. I was thin when I got pregnant the first time and it took forever to feel him move. I was heavier with the second and felt him move really early and much more than the first. So i really don't think it makes a difference.

The inside of the uterus doesn't have any nerves, so feeling the baby depends on how easy it can get to your skin. The more fat (or whatever) between the uterus and the skin the harder it is to feel.

It also depends on placental placement, if it's on the front it'll be cushioning the bab'ys movements so you won't feel them.

I felt my first at 14w, my second consistantly by 13w and my youngest from the outside at 16w.

Doesnt mattter if you are fat or thin. The baby will move no matter what shape you are in. It will move when it gets ready to. Dont worry ..
