'Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it.' thats wat me friend told me..but is it true?

A heavy gun will absorb more recoil and be a little more stable to aim. A light one will be easier to carry over a distance, but you will feel more recoil. So, it boils down to this. Do you have big legs to carry a big gun or do you have big shoulders to handle a big recoil?

It depends what you are using it for. Target shooters usually add more weight to their guns to make it less likely they will wobble while distance shooting. But people tend to use lighter hand guns and assault rifles because it makes them easier to move around quickly. As for quality I wouldn’t use weight as a real judging factor.

well it depends on the kind of shooting if u r shooting long rang i would go with a rifal for short rang i would go with a pistol and med. rang a shotgun i would go with a medum sized gun one that suits the way u shoot
