They had a hard time being slaves in this country. I want to show my thanks for everything they have contributed since, all the inventions, all the great leaders they have produced. Without African-Americans, we'd still be living in huts and caves and probably wouldn't have cool things. They are by far the best race, peaceful and non-violent. I imagine a USA without black people and I shiver, it would be hell. All these whites and asians living in poverty. Thank you African Americans. How can I thank you more?

LOL, I don't know if you know this... but we weren't living in huts and caves since long before slavery. If we lived in huts and caves, who's farms did these slaves work on????

What the h are you saying. It truly sounds insulting to African Americans from what I am reading. It also sounds condescending. Huts and caves, not true. Those of African American decent have contributed greatly to the United States that is very true but either find another way to phrase it if you are being sincere or stop being rude.

I'm not black, but what you wrote was udderly ridiculous. Even if we didn't have slavery, it isn't as though we would be living in huts and caves. The colonists didn't live in huts and caves, they knew how to cut down trees and build houses. Black people had nothing to do with that.
You could thank black people by treating them with respect. There's nothing more that you could do.
