yes you can because you have another tube that can function just as well as if you had two. It really only takes one tube to get pregnant. That's considering your tube is well and you have functioning ovaries. Good Luck

Hi
Direct answer is: YES.
BUT as it the slang says that there are too many slips between cup and lips.
It must be evaluated that what caused the tube to get scarred. Just removing the scarred tube or scarr does not mean that you will conceive in the next month.
Is scarring bilateral? if yes, then chance are remote but still there.

Remember, more than 20% males are sterile. They cannot produce sperms which are normal enough to do the job done.
So evaluation of your boyfriend or husband is of tremendous importance.
There are 100s of cases who got conceived after removal of scar or who has only one fallopian tube after the removal of the other. Similarly, there are 100s of cases where nothing succeeded.
So thorough evaluation is needed. Specially, ruling out of " Anovulation is very important. Clomiphene helps in such cases. A thorough and proper follow up by skilled gynecologist is mandatory. Being patient and complying to the advice of your physician is also necessary.
One more fact: there are about 7% couples who are absolutely normal, with no defect in any partner, but even then they don't conceive. So blessing is also needed.
Good Luck
regards:

Conceiving is a bilateral process. It takes two to make a quarrel.
If it is the only scarring which

Yes you can still get pregnant.
Women have two fallopian tubes.
So even though you had one removed you still have the other one that works.
It might take you a little longer to get pregnant than a women with two fallopian tubes but it is possible.
Don't give up and good luck.

If you are sure that you have scarring in only one-
It is possible, because you would still have one left. It could possibly make it more difficult or take longer than normal to conceive, but it doesn't mean that you CAN'T have children. Eggs are released randomly from one side or the other when we have a cycle. Tell your doctor that this is a concern of yours, so that he can check the health of the other tube, and possibly even run tests to check the health of your eggs-because whatever caused the scarring may have affected your fertility in other ways than just one tube.
If all else is fine, then there are hormones and treatments you can take to increase your chances of conceiving-but the only person who can teel you for sure that you can still get pregnant would be a doctor who has thoroughly examined you and knows the history of what caused the scarring.

yes, you still can get pregnancy with one tube. Your chances of conceiving every month are a little lower after this but never impossible. I had an ectoptic pregnancy and lost one of my tubes. I do admit that I had trouble getting pregnant "naturally" though my doctor has told me that they never could pinpoint why I never conceived on my own. If this should be the case with you there are other methods such as A.I. ( artificial insemination) where the doctor bypasses the tubes and attempts to fertilize your eggs for you ( sounds scarier than it is) or other fertility treatments. Modern science has so much to offer in this arena.
Take care of yourself and good luck.

Nope. Even if the sperm did manage to somehow find it's way to the egg, that egg would have to travel back down the tube and into the uterus. So even if you did manage to conceive (slim to none chance) you are at a really high risk for a tubal pregnancy, which is gravely dangerous to mother and baby. Your BEST (and most REALISTIC) bet is to get your PCOS under control and have IVF. Good luck.

I believe you must have the scarring remove first and even then the chances are slim.

My sister had a couple different surgeries to remove the scarring and then IVF and still wasn't able to conceive.

Good Luck and God Bless you
