I will be using this to download and store music and also store many pictures. I need it to be fast and efficent. Any suggestions? I've heard that Intel processors have many problems down the road..does anyone know if this is true?

There are only 2 brands: AMD and Intel. Both are ok and very similar. However, I like AMD because it is cheaper and your can find cool stuff like 64bits dual core. My suggestion for a laptop is to buy the best that you can, remember that a new windows is comming soon so you will need a good CPU.

Intel Core 2 Duo. The newest processors out. Simply amazing.

I suggest an Apple MacBook. They are all buitl with these amazing processors... If you're looking for a desktop, well they have them too!
While they may be mroe expensive, and they last much, much longer.

Where did you hear this about Intel CPUs? I haven't had any issues. I have some old Thinkpads that are still going strong. IMHO, Dell is a pretty good value for the money. Just research the model that catches your eye.

I have a dell its Great only for 20.00 amonth and i got Inspiron e1505 837.90 cents later its entel Core moblie Technolgy and you can do anything with it then if has problems you call dell they will fix it for free
