If you're rich go back every week. They usually only last two to three days before they chip, same a swhen you do it at home. Save manicures for special occassions, they're a waste of money.

If the length is longer than what you are used to, it may take a little time to adjust. But you will. Mose people go for a re-do when the ridge starts to show on the base of the nail. That's most people.
My personal experience is that fake nails are bad for the natural nail. The nail needs to breath. Wearing them all the time can weaken the nail bed underneath and make the natural nail weak and thin. I use super nail hardeners and have grown my own nails. I do put a fake nail on, now and again, when I have a serious break. But once it's grown out, I don't put one back on.

I want to go! I did before, you can have them mid length to start, it's hard to get used to using your hand's with them. So start practical. It takes between 2and 3 weeks for the nail bed to grow out and then you need to have that void area filled in. It is quite and expense. However, most of us can not do the professional job the manicurists do and the nails come off! So you actually waste money! Get it done by a salon and have fun.

Hi I am a licensed Nail tech, Nails can be beautiful, if they are properly cared for, both by you, and your nail tech. She should ALWAYS either use a new file, or a sanitizeable file, and should have a clean work area.
Nails are very easy to live with, for someone who is getting a set for the first time I recommend they go with a shorter active length, and if they like them, they can grow them out with their nails, and the length is not such a shock.
My clients come every 3 weeks, with the exception of a few who still really like to have them done every 2 weeks.
Your nail tech should guarantee her work, I do for 3 weeks, look for someone who is busy, and hopefully a referral, then you can actually see the work she/he does.
for a good tech, you may have to wait 2-5 days to get into, since her regulars will have her booked up!
Please do not try to do nails on yourself, or have a friend do it... there is a reason we have to be licensed!
please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I think it depends on what you get done and who you get it done by. I usually wear them plain i guess I dont really know what your asking there. My nails usualy last like 2 or 3 weeks. I would get them done again after 3 weeks or 3 and a half weeks. But remember it depends on what you get done.

if you are interested in artificial nails, they typically will last 2 weeks (sometimes longer depending on how fast your nails grow) In my experience only places that use a drill (which are normally cheaper than other places) will give you nails that will last. I have only had a problem with them breaking with they were hand filed.
Hope this helps!

I usually get the pink and white. And with any set of nails the average time between fills is about two weeks

You get used to them and they are pretty strong (thats how you wear them.)
You should go back to get them filled; when they start growing out. Probably within a week or so. Depends how fast your nails grow.
