Light because L is ugly (or at least uglier than light) and he doesn't let anyone or anything in his way. He doesn't let his emotions control him and he isn't afraid to get rid of someone who is against him. It's refreshing to finally see a character who won't give up on world domination all for that "special gal" (as in most animes, the characters lose the potential for great power because of love) Light's better because he knows what he wants and he's willing to do anything to get it. L is creepy. Have you seen his feet? He looks like he doesn't shower!

L, because he is smarter dan Light. L, as a normal human, doesn't even knew a thing about Death Note from the start, that means Light have the advantage and can cover himself, but L can discover that Light is Kira and sometimes drive Light crazy... If only Light is a normal murderer and doesn't have Death Note, L can easily catch him (but if there's no Death Note, Light will never be a murderer and there will be no Death Note manga/anime)

Light. I just have a major thing for guys that most people love to hate :P... Plus he is smart good looking and well crazy yes but stillhe stays a step ahead of everyone. And he is very um goal oriented lol

light coz he rawks! =P well, coz he does things for the sake of making the earth a much better place to live. i wud've done the same thing too if i was given a death note. =D that is, IF death note exists (of coz not!).

L is better because he's not crazy like Light and he looks like a cute little monkey because of his face and the way he sits.

Light. I pick Light b/c he does bad things with good intentions. he can outsmart anyone, and if you don't believe me then read the manga. I like his determination, meaning if he sets his mind to something, he sure as hell will do it. His brilliants never seizes to amaze me, ya never know what he'll do next.

Of course i like L. L is unique. I just like him very much. Looking at the way he act, i can laugh for some times. I like him because he brought happiness for me.

L because he's an unforgetable character. I couldn't believe what happened to him, it was so sudden, I couldn't help but ask myself "What?!" the entire week after I read it. Light was pathetic in the end and begged as a terrible hypocrite.
