Either use a calculator or long division.
Long Division:
Before you divide, make sure your divisor (0.336) is doesn't have any decimals. To do this, move the decimal place 3 to the right on both numbers. This works because:
1.6 / 0.336 x 1000 / 1000 = 1600 / 336
You are multiplying by 1000 / 1000 = 1 and multiplying by 1 doesn't change a fraction.
Now you have 1600 divided by 336. Do this normally.
Here's a picture of what it looks like:

Hope that helps!

Move the decimal over by one place:
1.6 => 16.
and on 0.336:
0.336 => 3.36
Now divide.
16 into 3.36 is .21
You move the decimal over as many times as you need on the first digit. BUT you have to move the exact number of places on the other side.

multiply both terms by 1000 to get rid of the decimal (you can do this, because 1.6/.336 is being multiplied by one in the form of 1000/1000
so you now have 1600/336
divide as you normally would
simplifying this would be 100/21, or about 4.76190476

Use a calculator: 1.6 / .336 = 4.7619
Or by hand, you would move the decimal point over to make it 1600 divided by 336, which still equals 4.7619
