your CS worker is supposed to be doing that for you. if your case worker isnt on the ball, then write your regional federal CS office (link is below).
if you dont have a court order for CS, you can file pro se yourself or contact your local Legal Aid Office. they are in all states and most counties. they go on a sliding scale, so its free to most. look in your phone book or call your county court clerks office and ask for it. if no luck, call your state's bar assoc for it.
for a calculator, check the link i put below. just click on your state and fill in the fields. it will give you a general idea as to what the support will be.
for any other questions (child support, visitation, etc) i put some links on here for that too. there are ALWAYS questions when you go through this stuff and no one tells ya anything (we learn the hard way). again, just click on your state and find the section you want.
if your owed thousands, contact supportkids. they may be able to help. also post his deadbeat face on a deadbeat site. the last few links are for you... to help with some things.

Getting a lawyer for child support is not even worth it. I help my Wife with her court papers all the time. It is not that hard. You will be paying more for your lawyer than you will get.
